Holmfirth Circular
Length: 4.6 miles
This is a pleasant town and countryside loop that takes in a mix of sights and terrains as you make your way round the route.
Digley Reservoir is located a the very edge of the Peak District National Park. This trail takes you along its banks and crosses the Blackpool Bridge across the Marsden Clough before heading back via Issues Road bridleway.
A straightforward hike up Black Hill - the highest point in West Yorkshire. This is a gorgeous trail traversing moorland, crossing several streams and involving a couple of steep sections.
This route lies on the edge of the Peak District National Park and takes you over Herbage Hill before descending along the Ramsden Clough to visit Riding Wood and Yateholme Reservoir.
This is a beautiful trail exploring the very edge of Peak District National Park, taking you past the four reservoirs in the Holme Valley: Brownhill, Ramsden, Riding Wood, and Yateholme Reservoirs.
Langsett Reservoir is located in the Dark Peak at the very edge of the Peak District National Park near the villages of Langsett and Upper Midhope. This trail takes you around the reservoir and briefly up into the moors of the Dark Peak.
